Children International allows you to sponsor an under privileged child from many countries. Once you choose a child you have many options to interact with your child, including emails, letters, visiting and presents! Having my child in Ecuador has really meant the world to me! I've been sponsoring her for almost 3 years! Her name is Daniela Alejandra Chicaiza Charry. She is 15 years old now!

One of my favorite charities is The Office of Letters and Light. www.lettersandlight.org They were started by the same man, Chris Baty, who started NaNoWriMo and Script Frenzy and focus on encouraging children and adults to be creative. It's inspiring. :)

My favorite charity is a local animal society that takes care of homeless cats and dogs.
My favorite charity would have to be the American Cancer Society. My mother lost 2 brothers and her mother to cancer in one years' time. It is a horrible thing.

I love to interact with children or teens. Last month I visited a non formal school which has working-at-day and schooling-at-night students. They must support their family in such limited financial state. Alongside with giving donation, we also had a talkshow and played games with them. It was awesome and inspiring to see their spirits and efforts to make their lives better. I would love to be involved in a workshop involving them :)
I support many charities, but right now my focus is the American Cancer Society because I am a team captain for my local Relay for Life.
