Woo wee! We are having an author twitter chat tomorrow (or today, depending when you are reading this) Friday the 22nd at 5 pm Central time (3pst/4mst/6est)! Our guest will be Annabell Cadiz, author of Lucifer! If you have any questions for her you can add them in the comments here or tweet them to me at https://twitter.com/alove4lit ! We will be using the hashtag of #IAMChat. You may find it easiest to use tweetchat to follow along, it auto updates and auto adds the hash to your tweets! Here's the link: http://tweetchat.com/room/iamchat

Well see you all there!!

Oh and while you are waiting, check out these posts feature Annabell:

     About the Author
Annabell Cadiz was born in the sweltering heat of South Florida. She was raised surrounded by Puerto Rican chefs and band of siblings that weren’t all related to her. A self-proclaimed nerd and book-a-holic (her room does hold much evidence to prove her claims are justifiable), she created TeamNerd Reviews to showcase her EXTREME love for novels where, along with her best friend, Bridget Strahin, she hosts book reviews, interviews, giveaways, Indie Shoutouts and much more. She also blog tour services for authors. She also had the pleasure of being published in three separate issue of Suspense Magazine. She also adores Cinnamon Teddy Grahams, has an addiction to Minute Maid Orange juice, and is a proud Jesus Freak. Lucifer is the first book in the Sons of Old Trilogy.

Sons of Old Trilogy

Book #1 : Lucifer. Have you ever wondered what could be hiding in the shadows?

Well, for eighteen-year-old Zahara Faraday, she doesn’t have to wonder. You see she comes from a lineage of Light Witches, those who have chosen to help protect and serve between the supernatural world and the human world. The only problem is Zahara, like her father Solomon, is as human as a human being can be whereas her mother, Mia, and her Aunt Catalina, were born as Light Witches. As a family they hunt down rogue supernaturals—creatures who harm humans or who have committed an act against their kingdom.

Zahara’s hunting skills are usually kept dormant since her parents would prefer she live life as a normal human girl without knowledge of the supernatural world. She plans on doing just that—except when she finds a couple being attacked by fairies, she has no choice but to step in. Before she can return to pretending to be blissfully ignorant, Zahara encounters a problem she isn’t the least equip to handle: Bryan Hamilton, the good looking new co-worker she has to help train. In a heartbeat, her best friend, Becca King, has set her up on a double date with herself and her new crush, Rekesh Saint-Louis, who happens to be the most powerful leader of the biggest Imago Coven in South Florida –supernatural creatures with the ability to control water . . . and suck out human souls.

Zahara has no time to focus on how she’s going to explain her double date with her best friend and the enemy they have a tentative truce with to her parents because soon one of the members of Mia and Catalina’s coven is found murdered with a strange tattoo of a snake with wings carved into his arm.

Zahara is then thrown into a whirlwind battle with an angel determined to have revenge against God, an Imago coven she doesn’t think they should trust, and slew of dream-eating fairies and powerful Nephilims, hybrid children of angels and humans, more than happy to rip her to shreds.

Normal just got a deadlier definition.

**Also, you definitely don't want to miss her huge giveaway!! She's giving away makeup kit by E.L.F along with one DVD copy of the movie Sixteen Candles, a fuschia metallic manicure set, a Girl Power Superwoman wristband, a LOVE IS A BATTLEFIELD silver necklace, a silver bracelet with handcuff & key charms, Honey Sweetheart lotion (that smells INCREDIBLE!), two toned lip bloom (that is SUPER cute!), and gray colored cheetah printed socks that are SOOOO adorables and an ecopy of LUCIFER! ANNNND if that wasn't enough, FIVE other lucky winners will win a FREE ecopy of LUCIFER! Check out the giveaway directory for the link, she's #12.**

Bout of Books Challenge #6

This challenge, "What is Your Book Crack?", comes from Book Goonie!

The only book crack i really have is free ebooks! My city has a crappy book store selection. We used to have a BooksAMillion and Borders in my town, but they both closes. We still have several Barnes & Nobles but i don't really get a chance to go in there. Either way though, when i go onto the  amazon kindle store i pretty much forget about those real bookstores. I immediately filter to the genre i love (YA sci-fiction/fantasy) then sort from low price to high price. On a good day there are about 150 to 170 free books on there! Some aren't that great...but some are amazing. I'd love to tell you how many books i've gotten this way...but i'm embarrassed  Ok, i'll tell you...587. *blushes* Yep, i do this routine about twice a week and immediately buy any new titles i see. This equates to any from 5 to 10 books every week. Sometimes there are no new books...but i always look at every page until the .99 cent books start popping up. Sigh, it's totally like crack. I've been doing this for over a year... In my whole kindle library, i've bought about 20 books and emailed myself about 10 books. So that's a lot of free books.... Some books are only free for 3 or 4 days so i try to look on there a lot... or at least that's what i tell myself. Thankfully, i wont go into financial debt with this crack!

Bout of Books Challenge #5

The Bookish Dressup Challenge is hosted over at Nyx Book Reviews.

Whenever i think of a fictional characters fashion sense, all i can think of is Bella Swan from Twilight. Maybe it's because Alice makes such a big deal of it....but the books constantly describe her in flannel and jeans or something else totally drab! While i've def seen some psychedelic colored flannels, something tells me Bella probably chooses boring colors. And she def doesn't wear and dress or skirts! The below selections are a very feminine and pretty set that any girl could love..i hope!

Bout of Books Challenge #3

Today's challenge is hosted over at Booking In Heels. She asks us to turn to page 48, or 48% and write down the first sentence! Then we are to write 4 additional, made up sentences to bring the story in a new direction! This sounds like great fun!

The current book Im read is Dark Passage by ML Woolley!

48% = "She wanted them to also check to be sure no one was in the house."

She wanted them to also check to be sure no one was in the house. Having someone see her, or more over hear her, was more than she could bare! She walked out her brother and his family and waved warmly from the doorway. As a precaution, she did a once over around the house as a half-stitched effort at easing her mind. After finally convincing herself no one will ever know her dirty little secret, she throws her Richard Simmons VCR tape in and prepares to "party off the pounds".

Bout Of Books Challenge #2

Today's Bout of Books Challenge is all about cover love! Your Favorite cover and a funny cover! It's hosted over at Ms. Buff's blog.

I definitely judge books by the cover. I know it's a bad habit to have...but i cant help it! Some covers just make me salivate! I usually like covers with people that are obscured... then with elements like smoke or stars then with pretty colors! If the cover person has a beautiful dress or something that's even better!

I've honestly come across that many funny covers, but the ones i have are usually older books, comedies or non-fiction. :D

Bout of Books Challenge #1

Challenge #1 is hosted over at The Book Barbies and entails us participates to choose 2 fictional characters to come to life for 30 days: one best friend and one as a love interest!

The first think i thought of here was to choose Bella Swan as my bbf and Edward Cullen as my bf. It's be more of a flaunt in the face of Bella though, you know stealing her man and all. Honestly though, i started dislike twilight after the middle of the third book. It just seemed too unrealistic... idk. I also dislike Kstew so that kind of ruin the movies for me. Well, anyway i decided to not go with that scenario because it just seemed to spiteful!

To make the best choice possible i decided to evaluate my needs! For best friend, I'd want someone funny, caring and with good morals. A strong person that can stand up for herself and isn't afraid to speak her mind. It's also inportant that she be a book lover so we can chat about our reading!!

For a love interest, i like men who are very unselfish, maybe sarcstic (but not rude) and bright enough to get all my jokes! I like smart dudes that look like a bad boy... haha. I need a dude that loves animals and nature and that will put up with all my green/organic treehugger ways. Def don't want any guy that drinks, smokes or does drugs. Wow, if i find that 30 days might not be enough!! lol.

So i've decided on... *drum roll*

Best Friend = Kali from the Flash Gold Chronicles By Lindsay Buroker

Thanks to Bout of Books for hosting such a great ReadAThon!

Wonderfully Wicked ReadAThon Challenge

#WWReadathon
Hey How is everyone's reading coming? Ok. As promised here is my lovely challenge!

The Challenge

I was having some issues finding my own challenge, so this one is from Michelle at Book Briefs. Its quite simple and super fun!!! Thanks to April at Shelf Confessions for helping me construct it.

For this challenge you will be making one sentence using only book titles. You cant add or leave out any words. You can use as many books as you'd like. Your sentence will probably be silly but that makes it even more fun! Just make sure its a real sentence. Subject & Verb! Here is my example:

A beautiful, dark witch song crossed the haunted, wicked woods.
Wow! that sentence sounds scary...sort of like youre lost in the woods...then you start hearing things.. :/ Here are my books:

Woo not too hard huh? If you have a blog, you can make a post with your sentence and book covers then link it in the comments. If you dont have a blog, just add your sentence to the comments then list the book titles and authors you used! Also, since our event here has a twitter tag, as a extra entry, tweet your sentence with the tag (#WWReadathon) and url to this post then add a direct link to your tweet in a seperate comment!

This challenge is TIMED!! Yes thats right...you will only have a few hours to complete this and get your entries in! The challenge starts at 4pm est and will end at 10 pm est. That gives you 6 hours. I will choose the winner promptly at 10:15 pm!! If you are having trouble please feel free to tweet me at @Alove4Lit !

Prizes

We will have 1 winner that will be chosen randomly from everyone who completes the challenge. The winner will get to choose one paranormal/supernatural/horror book of their choice from Book Depository.

**For more info on the Wonderfully Wicked ReadAThon and a schedule of events, Check out Aprils post over at Shelf Confessions.**

Here is the Signups for the Prize Packs:

Oh and before i forget, if you want to follow along on twitter, try going using TweetChat at http://t.co/8rnINl1L I found it to be soo easy!
